Dissemination of youth exchange Understanding 10-16 July 2019 Fugleberg Denmark

Activities serving the dissemination and exploitation of results are a way to showcase the work that has been done as part of the Erasmus+ project. Sharing results, learned lessons, outcomes and findings beyond the participating organisations will enable a wider community to benefit from work that has received EU funding, as well as to promote the organisation’s efforts towards the objectives of Erasmus+.

  • Participants shared their experiences in social media.
Sharing the results of a project by posting pictures and descriptions on instagram and facebook about non-formal learning strategies in a multicultural setting, facilitating experiences, knowledge about immigration crisis, intolerance and racial discrimination. After coming back to Lithuania we participants did the presentation to youngsters from university addressing common causes of intolerance and analyse persisting cases of non-tolerance on the basis of culture, religion, gender, sexual orientation and race against various minorities, formulate good practices in order to reduce it, as well as strategies, which could help increase tolerance toward minorities in the participant countries and beyond.

  • The organization is inspired by activities to change and take action (intolerance and racial discrimination, discussions and workshops about immigration crisis) of the project. This summer we organized trips and public events for the general public:

The organization used these competences that are gained in a youth exchange program for organizing events:
-planning skills;
-time management;
-team communication and coordination;
-conflict management etc.

Moreover we have created event where students are invited and will share their experiences about immigration problems in one session which will be supported by the participants of the project. It will happen during this event: https://www.facebook.com/events/2389502134661219/

  • Meeting with school students (age 14-18). They were not familiar with the Erasmus+ programme and the opportunities it provides.

The presentation began with a short explanation of the Erasmus+ programme, its key activities and goals. Then we explained the differences between a youth exchange and a training course, and provided detailed information about the benefits and the application process. After that, we continued by sharing our experience from the youth exchange “Understanding”.
