9 - 15 May 2025 Steps On Spectrum
Between May 9–15, three participants from Lithuania took part in an international Erasmus+ training course held in Alicante, Spain. The project brought together youth workers and educators from nine countries to strengthen support for families raising children on the autism spectrum. The focus was on developing practical skills and inclusive approaches that youth professionals can apply in their daily work. Participants explored ways to build stronger community support systems, promote acceptance, and ensure that those facing social or economic barriers are not left behind. This 7-day training was especially inclusive of young parents and professionals with fewer opportunities. It emphasized equal gender representation and intercultural learning as core values. By taking part, the Lithuanian team gained new perspectives, professional tools, and meaningful connections—contributing to lasting impact in their local communities and beyond.
