Save Nature

Partners and participants made this great project. ‘Save Nature” was the youth exchange of young people and youth leaders coming from 8 different countries with a need to speak loud and act for better future when it comes about environment First of all, participants understood that their voice matters and their actions were important and made a change in the society. Second of all, participants became more open minded, creative and innovative while solving problems, taking challenges, accomplishing their goals and plans as well as realised that there was much more power when they acted together with others than alone, that it was important to have other people around them and asking for their help and support was nothing wrong, as well as not always they had to win or fulfil their plan straight away, that trying hard and not giving up was the most important and in order to reach dreams and goals you needed time, patience and self-confidence. Type of activity; KA1 Youth Exchange Venue; Istanbul, Turkey Planned dates; 15-24 April 2019 Countries involved; Sweden, Turkey, Estonia, Spain, Lithuania, Poland, Bulgaria and Romania. Working methods used; We used non formal methods such as: brainstorming, discussions, mind-maps, energizers, ice-breakers, team-building, using art, pantomime and theatre, road tables, group work, group and individual reflections, preparing promoting materials (flyers, postcards, posters, memes, graphics),making a speech and presenting in front of the group, doing desk-research, preparing and implementing campaigns, doing Infographics, planning follow-ups, facilitating intercultural nights, organising photo sessions, visiting local sustainable business and meeting local activists and stakeholders.
