ERASMUS+ INTERNSHIP MOBILITY PROGRAM
CEU students may spend an internship period of 2 to 12 months at a receiving institution under the Erasmus+ Internship Mobility Program. Students receive a grant, which is a contribution to travel and the cost of living in another country. Within this framework it is also possible for recent graduates of any program to pursue a traineeship. In this case application must be submitted during enrolled/active student status and the internship contract must be signed before the graduation. Students are selected for an Erasmus grant by the Internhsip Scholarship Advisory Committee on the basis of academic ability and the relevance of the proposed internship to their studies at CEU.
WHERE CAN I GO?
Students must carry out their mobility activity in a Program Country* different from Hungary and their country of permanent residence.
*The Erasmus Program Countries are the following:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Turkey
The receiving organization can be:
– Any public or private organization active in the labour market or in the fields of education, training and youth. For example:
– a body providing career guidance, professional counselling and information services;
The following types of organizations are not eligible as host organizations:
Minimum duration of an internship period abroad is 2 months, up to the maximum of 12 months in this round.
The duration is calculated from the first day the student is required to be at their place of traineeship, including introduction days etc. The end date is the last date they need to be present.
Students may participate in the Erasmus+ Mobility Program for studying or being trained abroad several times, totalling up to 12 months maximum per each level of study (short cycle, bachelor, master, doctoral). Former participations in the program will be taken into account.
Priority will be given to students participating in the program for the first time (during their CEU studies) and to those choosing a destination country different from their country of permanent residence.
The first possible day of the mobility is the 1st of July, 2018. An after graduation internship must be completed within 12 months after the date of graduation. All internships must be completed by 30 September 2019 the latest.

– a body providing career guidance, professional counselling and information services;
The following types of organizations are not eligible as host organizations:
- EU institutions and other EU bodies including specialized agencies (their exhaustive list is available on the website http://europa.eu/about-eu/institutions-bodies/index_en.htm)
- organizations managing EU programs
- national diplomatic representations (embassy or consulate) of the home country of the student
