25 March 24 - April 3 Healthy Habits for a Healthy Life
The Healthy Habits for a Healthy Life project, part of the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange program, brought together enthusiastic young people from across Europe for a transformative week dedicated to promoting well-being, fostering intercultural understanding, and building strong international friendships.
Hosted in the scenic Czech Republic, the program focused on the development of both mental and physical health through a variety of interactive and engaging activities. Participants took part in dynamic team-building exercises that encouraged trust, communication, and collaboration, laying the foundation for a supportive group environment. Workshops and group discussions explored key topics such as stress management, balanced nutrition, physical activity, mindfulness, and positive lifestyle choices, helping young people reflect on their daily habits and how to improve them.
In addition to the educational sessions, the exchange celebrated Europe’s rich cultural diversity through lively intercultural evenings. Each country group had the opportunity to present their traditions, food, music, and dances, turning every night into a vibrant cultural showcase. These moments were not only fun and entertaining, but also deepened the participants' appreciation of different cultures and perspectives.
A highlight of the week was an adventurous excursion into the picturesque Sudetenland region. Here, participants immersed themselves in local history, nature, and heritage through guided hikes, visits to historical landmarks, and interactive storytelling. This hands-on experience helped young people connect with the host country's identity while reflecting on the importance of cultural preservation and community involvement.
By the end of the exchange, participants left not only with new knowledge and healthy routines but also with lasting friendships, improved communication skills, and a renewed sense of motivation. The Healthy Habits for a Healthy Life project was a truly inspiring and enriching experience that empowered young people to become ambassadors of health and well-being in their own communities.
